
Master of Science (M.S.) in Additive Manufacturing and Design
Degree Requirements
All additive manufacturing and design (AMD) students are required to enroll in five core courses (19 credits) that cover additive manufacturing processes, materials for additive manufacturing, the engineering and scientific principles of additive manufacturing, design for additive manufacturing, and a hands-on laboratory experience in additive manufacturing.
In addition to the core courses, students will be required to enroll in electives (8-9 credits) that include design, materials, manufacturing, technical writing, technical presentations, and supply chain, as well as a seminar course (1 credit).
To meet the degree requirements, students will also be required to complete a research thesis (6 credits) or an independent project that leads to a scholarly paper (3 credits).
